On Saturday I was able to throw the ceremonial first pitch for the Hillsboro Hops! Earlier in the week I was preparing for the Hops game so I practiced pitching over 100 times. Before this week I knew nothing about baseball, but now I know about grand slams, home runs, stealing bases, how to pitch, what a strike is, the difference between an infielder and a outfielder, and what an umpire actually does. Overall I had an amazing time. I think my pitch went great, and got to learn about baseball.
